Assign Permissions
All required users without SUPER role permission must be assigned the FILE EXPLORER permission set before they can access the File Explorer extension.
1. Choose the 🔎 icon, enter Users, and then choose the related link.
2. Select the user that you want to assignpermission to. Any permission sets that are already assigned to the user aredisplayed in the Permission Sets FactBox.
3. Choose the Edit action to open the User Card page.
4. On the User Permission Sets FastTab, on a newline, fill in the fields FILE EXPLORER permission set using the lookup button:

Prerequisite and Setup
At least one Customer and one Vendor shouldbe created in Business Central to be able to access the File Explorer.

Creating a new Folder
1. Choose the 🔎 icon, enter Customer/Vendor, and then choose the related link.
2. Open the card for the Customer/Vendor for which you want to create a new folder.
3. Choosethe File Explorer action.
4. On the File Explorer Entries page click New Folder.
5. Specify a new name of a new folder and click OK.
6. The folder is now created for the Customer/Vendor.
Adding Files to a Folder
1. Create a new folder for an Customer/Vendor.
2. On the File Explorer Entries page click the folder Name or select the Open action.
3. On the Documents Entries page click New File.
4. Choose a file from any location, and then choose the Open button.
5. The file has been uploaded inside of the desired folder.
Moving a File or Folder to another location
In the following example, we have a file named "New_File" which we will move to another folder.

1. On the Documents Entries page click Move.
2. Click New Parent Look up value to choose a New Parent for the file.
3. Chose a new parent folder and click OK
4. Click OK.
5. The file has been moved to the new folder.
